Ipiranga, Chevron get Brazilian antitrust approval for automotive lubricants joint venture

( February 9, 2017, 21:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Ipiranga Produtos de Petróleo and Chevron Brasil Lubrificantes have received Brazilian antitrust clearance for their joint venture which will produce automotive lubricants in Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay. The decision will be published in Brazil's Official Journal. The companies had filed paperwork with the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, using a full-form notification because of overlaps in the lubricants, greases and coolants markets.CADE statement follows in Portuguese....
