UK electronics retailer Currys faces new mass claim over 2018 data breach

The claim, filed at the High Court, is understood to be on behalf of nearly 800 claimants and seeks up to five million pounds. A previous claim against the retailer failed, while regulatory enforcement over the data breach is under appeal. Currys called the lawsuit “premature” and said it would defend itself against it.
