Oracle seeks permanent injunction against Rimini Street business software services

( October 21, 2015, 22:48 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Following a jury verdict finding Rimini Street infringed Oracle software copyrights, Oracle has filed a motion asking US District Judge Larry R. Hicks to grant a permanent injuction blocking Rimini from offering a number of software support services. "Rimini built a business through pervasive, undisputed, and unauthorized downloading and copying of Oracle’s software and support materials," Oracle said in the motion, referencing its PeopleSoft-, JD Edwards-, and Siebel-branded application software.See document below....
