Court of Justice: Judgment in C-667/11 Paltrade

( June 6, 2013, 09:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Court of Justice of the EU has ruled that extended definitive antidumping duties can be levied retroactively on products, if an investigation finds circumvention of existing duties. In the current case, duties were initially imposed on imports of iron and steel fasteners from China, and subsequently extended and retroactively imposed on exports from Malaysia.  Read the full judgment below....
