Telecom operators consulted on EU regulators’ 2019 work program

( October 10, 2018, 14:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: ​Telecom operators and electronic-communications providers have been asked to give their opinion on the 2019 work program of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications. The program includes 12 guidelines on topics such as very-high-capacity networks, net neutrality and the sustainability of the domestic pricing model. The scope of the work of Berec has changed after the adoption of the new European Electronic Communications Code, and much of the work program is set up in light of these new mandatory tasks. The final adoption of the work program is planned for December this year. Berec today also opened consultations on the data economy and contractual simplification.Statement follows.
