Atmosfera, Lavebras notify Brazil antitrust agency of laundry services deal

( February 6, 2017, 21:37 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Atmosfera Gestão e Higienização de Têxteis, which offers industrial laundry services, has notified the Brazilian competition authority of its plan to acquire rival Lavebras Gestão de Têxteis. The companies notified the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, of the transaction using a full-form notification because they overlap in more than 20 percent in certain segments of laundry services in the cities of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Curitiba.
