Judge in Apple App Store US consumer suit questions expert report calculating $7-10 billion in damages

Gonzalez Rogers said she has “real problems” with some elements of the method used by University of California Professor Daniel L. McFadden in working out the impact of Apple’s exclusive control of app distribution and its 30 percent commission fee, but that the plaintiffs seem to meet “most of the elements” to clear class certification.
