Four LPG suppliers in Jeju Island fined for collusion by South Korean antitrust regulator

The Korea Fair Trade Commission Cheonma, Jeju BK, Jeju Mirae Energy and Halla Energy, which supply LPG to around 140 retailers in Jeju, were found to have colluded on the sale price and customer lists for propane, a type of LPG, between 2020 and 2021.Four suppliers of liquefied petroleum gas in South Korea’s Jeju Island have been issued a tentative fine of 2.6 billion won (about $2 million) and corrective orders by the country’s antitrust regulator for collusion....
