China updates feedback on its draft antitrust guidelines for standard-essential patents

( August 21, 2023, 09:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s State Administration for Market Regulation has received about 300 advice responses to its draft antitrust guidelines for the field of standard-essential patents, the top market authority said in a statement. The suggestions mainly cover the structure of the guidelines and rules pertaining to information disclosure, licensing commitments, good-faith negotiations, patent pooling, as well as abuses of market dominance. SAMR will take into full consideration comments it received to improve the guidelines, according to the statement.
