Brazil's Judicial Council to standardize measures for curbing risk of coronavirus in national courts

( March 19, 2020, 15:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The National Judicial Council (CNJ) plans to analyze a proposal that would standardize measures adopted by national courts to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, according to a statement. The CNJ is charged with supervising the administrative and financial activities of Brazil's judiciary. Measures proposed include suspending hearings, providing flexible procedural deadlines, creating call centers and videoconferences and allowing remote work.
