LSE-Refinitiv deal: summary decision, final report published by EU

( October 27, 2021, 09:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission today issued the summary version of its earlier decision to conditionally clear plans by The London Stock Exchange Group to buy New York-based financial-data products provider Refinitiv. In January, the EU watchdog said the plan could go ahead, but that LSE must, among other obligations, divest its 99.9 percent stake in Borsa Italiana group, and continue to offer its global over-the-counter interest-rate derivatives clearing services performed by LCH Swapclear on open terms.The summary version of the decision and the hearing officer's final report are attached.
