Lux Med wins conditional approval in Poland to take over Citomed

( October 26, 2021, 10:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Private healthcare services group Lux Med may take over clinics and diagnostic laboratories network Citomed, Poland's competition authority has said. The approval is conditional on a set of remedies to ensure that the situation for patients on the local market in Toruń and area doesn't deteriorate, UOKiK said. Lux Med is obliged to ensure non-discriminatory access to diagnostic imaging services as well as to maintain rebates granted to public hospitals as part of imaging diagnostic test cooperation contracts concluded with them, among other conditions.
