Valve secures arbitration order from judge in consumer antitrust lawsuit over alleged platform tying

( October 25, 2021, 17:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Valve has had its request to compel arbitration granted with respect to consumer plaintiffs suing the company for an alleged illegal tie between its Steam Gaming Platform and its Steam Store. But Judge John Coughenour of the US District Court for the Western District of Washington denied Valve's request to stay similar antitrust claims from independent gaming studio Wolfire Games pending the resolution of arbitration proceedings. Court document attached....
