Ingram Micro will 'vigorously contest' record French antitrust fine over Apple distribution

( March 16, 2020, 17:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: California-based Ingram Micro has said it is “absolutely disappointed" with the French competition authority's decision to fine Apple and two distributors a total of EUR1.24 billion today. It intends now “to vigorously contest this decision to the French judiciary.” Ingram was fined 61.9 million euros for its participation in a distribution cartel with another distributor of Apple products in France, Tech Data, which was fined 76.1 million euros.Statement follows....
