Trustworthy AI systems in Germany: businesses to work on standards

( October 20, 2021, 08:37 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: German companies will see a government attempt to define trustworthy requirements and standards for artificial intelligence systems via the newly established Center for Trustworthy AI, set up by the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection. The aim is for civil society, businesses and academia to work toward establishing trustworthy AI systems as the standard. Funds of up to 4.5 million euros are available for the project, which will run until the end of 2023.Statement follows in German....
