Cadbury, Mondelez to pay $13 million for FCPA records lapse in India

( January 6, 2017, 23:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Securities and Exchange Commission said Cadbury Limited and Mondelēz International have agreed to pay $13 million to settle internal controls and books and records violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act arising from poorly documented payments made in 2010 by a Cadbury unit in India to a consultant engaged to obtain government licenses and approvals for a chocolate factory.
