Yahoo ex-General Counsel Ron Bell seeks to delay deposition in data breach case

( September 7, 2018, 22:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Yahoo's former General Counsel Ron Bell is seeking to delay his deposition scheduled for Sept. 12 and 13 "until the resolution of the pending disputes between the parties regarding the assertion of the attorney-client privilege," his attorneys have told US District Judge Lucy Koh in a letter. Bell's attorneys said they're concerned plaintiffs will seek to depose him twice. Plaintiffs argued that the deposition should proceed as scheduled because they've already postponed it once before. "Plaintiffs have previously agreed to delay this deposition— originally set for August 17th—but cannot volunteer to do so again now," they said....
