US Forced Labor Task Force highlights expanded UFLPA Entity List, updated strategy

( August 1, 2023, 19:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force published an updated Uygher Forced Labor Prevention Act Strategy and noted the addition of a pair of Chinese entities, announced earlier today by the Department of Homeland Security, to the UFLPA Entity List. Goods produced by Xinjiang Zhongtai Chemical Co., Ninestar Corp. including eight of its Zhuhai-based subsidiaries, Camel Group Co., and Chenguang Biotech Group Co. will be restricted from entering the US due to the companies’ work with the Chinese government in using forced labor out of the Xinjiang region. See statement below....
