Chinese provinces rectify anticompetitive behavior in power supply projects, NDRC says

( December 29, 2016, 07:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China's National Development and Reform Commission today said 10 provincial and municipal governments had rectified practices that may constitute abuses of administrative power and the elimination or restriction of competition relating to the building of power supply facilities in new residential areas. Previously, a total of 12 local governments had implemented schemes that allowed centralized management of the power projects, including the imposition of standard charges on property developers, the regulator said in a statement on its website. The provinces and municipalities that have rectified practices are Chongqing, Guizhou, Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Gansu, Jiangxi and Tianjin, the statement said.The statement follows....
