Advent notifies CADE of plans to acquire control of Morpho companies

( December 23, 2016, 16:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A fund related to Advent International has submitted to the Brazilian antitrust authority a plan to acquire control of electronic security providers Morpho USA and Safran Identity and Security, formerly known as Morpho SAS, from France-based Safran Group. The companies filed paperwork with the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, using a full-form notification. In November, Smiths Group submitted to the agency its plan to acquire control of a Morpho unit.
