Hapvida, Plamed under investigation in Brazil for failing to comply with structural remedies on deal

The parties asked the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, for more time to find a buyer for Plamed's client portfolios of individual or family medical-hospital healthcare plans and of collective medical-hospital healthcare plans in Aracajú in Sergipe state. Hapvida and Plamed are under scrutiny by the Brazilian competition authority for failing to comply with structural remedies imposed on them when their deal was approved in February....
