British American Tobacco charged with corruption in Italy

In a regulatory filing, the world's largest tobacco company said the charge relates to a failure to prevent corruption by two former employees. The charge has been filed against BAT Italia in the city of Florence, and the case involves "a large number of individual and corporate defendants."
