T-Mobile says it received subpoena from New York attorney general's office for FCC documents

( August 30, 2018, 16:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: T-Mobile has informed the US Federal Communications Commission in a letter made public Thursday that it received a subpoena May 4 from the New York State Attorney General's Office in its review of the company's planned deal with Sprint that would involve the disclosure of number access and number portability data provided by telecom carriers to the FCC. The subpoena requires T-Mobile to provide all documents received from the FCC as part of its review of the deal, according to T-Mobile, and all materials provided to the New York office are made available to a multistate group of attorney generals investigating the transaction that have signed confidentiality agreements with the two companies.See document attached....
