Reddy Ice, indirect purchasers reach settlement in packaged-ice class action

By Leah Nylen ( May 15, 2012, 20:22 GMT | Insight) -- A federal bankruptcy judge in Texas is expected to approve a settlement later this week worked out between Reddy Ice and plaintiffs who allege the company conspired with others ice makers to allocate sales territories for their product. The ice maker has agreed to pay $700,000 to settle the case without admitting wrongdoing, falling far short of the $460 million plaintiffs originally demanded....
