Chile competition authority closes natural gas pipeline infrastructure probe of Gasoducto del Pacífico
( October 4, 2021, 14:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Chilean competition authority has closed an investigation into Gasoduto del Pacífico for allegedly refusing to deliver to an unidentified company a certificate of connection to Gasoduto's natural gas transmission line, which is considered an essential infrastructure to transport gas, according to a statement. The Fiscalía Nacional Económica, or FNE, said there is no evidence that Gasoduto del Pacífico has hindered the entry of the unidentified company in the market.
