As part of the MOU, the agencies will expand their strong cooperation with respect to food and agricultural inputs, such as feed, fertilizer, fuel, seed, equipment, pesticides, among other essential goods, the DOJ said in a statement. The new MOU deepens the DOJ's close partnership with the USDA to protect American farmers from unlawful conduct and to promote a more affordable and resilient food supply chain, it said.Statement follows below.
