Lesy ČR gets Czech fine for wood chips export ban

( September 17, 2026, 12:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: State-owned forest business Lesy ČR has been fined more than 17 million Koruna (around $818,236) for a three-year export ban agreement with one of its customers, in breach of national and EU competition rules, the Czech antitrust authority said Thursday. The agreement distorted competition in the markets for logging residues and wood chips.
