NHK files reply in support of US Supreme Court review of Seagate's antitrust case
( August 5, 2026, 21:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: NHK Springs filed a reply in support of its petition for the US Supreme Court to review price-fixing claims brought by Seagate Technology over suspension assemblies, arguing that the Ninth Circuit’s decision to revive the case is the first in history to hold that foreign purchasers can bring US antitrust claims against foreign defendants for foreign transactions, based solely on the fact that aspects of those transactions were agreed to in the US.
