Google, Epic raise app store antitrust compliance dispute with US judge

( July 24, 2026, 17:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google and Epic Games asked a California federal judge to weigh in on a dispute over Google's compliance with an injunction designed to improve competition in app store distribution and billing on Android devices. Although a technical committee overseeing the injunction's implementation accepted Google's plan to locate third-party app stores on a page separate from Play Store search results, "it did so on grounds that are inconsistent with the trial record and with this Court's prior observations," Epic said in a joint submission filed in the Northern District of California.See attached document....
