Under Armour beats US antitrust claims in bioceramic textiles case

In an opinion filed in the Western District of Pennsylvania, US District Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan said judgment in Under Armour's favor against Multiple Energy Technologies' Sherman Act claim is warranted due to "two threshold reasons (lack of antitrust injury and lack of antitrust standing), and two merits-based reasons (failure to define a relevant product market and failure to provide sufficient evidence of market power through any exclusionary conduct)." Ranjan also granted judgment against MET's state antitrust claim because it "cannot prove direct competition."See attached document....
