TikTok files reply supporting dismissal of US antitrust claims over sports memorabilia

( May 8, 2026, 23:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: TikTok filed a reply in support of its motion to dismiss US antitrust claims brought by plaintiff GLC & Supply Inc., which alleges TikTok acted with the defendants the National Football League and Fanatics to suppress or ban small-business sellers who sold non-Fanatics memorabilia on its platform. Plaintiff improperly tries to introduce new evidence with its opposition to dismissal brief thas has no connection to the claims asserted, including unsigned contract and undated text messages, TikTok said in its brief filed in the Central District of California. "The most Plaintiff musters, beyond this, is bald assertions that it should be permitted to take discovery to support the claims its Amended Complaint comes nowhere close to stating. The law does not permit Plaintiff to take discovery that its allegations do not support," TikTok said.See attached document....
