Austrian time limit on claims for cartel damages interest rejected by ECJ

Answering questions referred in a case involving a logistics company suing Mercedes-Benz, the Court of Justice held that under EU law, interest must run from when harm occurs, not when claims are filed.Cartelists risk being liable for damages interest dating from the point when harm first occurred, the EU's top judges said on Thursday in a case deriving from Austrian litigation involving truckmaker Mercedes-Benz (see here)....
