China, EU hold 28th competition policy week, pledge deeper antitrust cooperation

Officials discussed China’s fair-competition review system, the EU’s state-aid control regime, competition assessments, antitrust enforcement in the digital economy and merger review practices during the week. Both sides said they would deepen cooperation and exchanges in antitrust enforcement to safeguard fair market competition and support continued development of bilateral economic and trade ties.Statement follows (in Chinese)....
