North Carolina AG says US DOJ cut 'backroom deal' with Live Nation, Ticketmaster

Jackson said that the settlement "is terrible," and that states suing the companies will not be signing it. "Your deal is terrible. You negotiated it behind closed doors because you knew we would object, and even your lead attorney in the courtroom didn't know about it until it was finished, which means that deal wasn't made in the courtroom.
