End-payers oppose Bausch, Lannett settlement on US states' price-fixing claims

The settlement purports to release claims on behalf of consumers in 48 jurisdictions — consumers in 45 of those jurisdictions have claims pending against Bausch and Lannett in the multidistrict litigation — but the parties to the settlement have not included a plan of allocation that would allow the end-payers to determine whether the settlement is fair, reasonable and adequate, the filing in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut said.See attached document: ...
