US Democratic lawmakers question FTC decision to drop case against PepsiCo

( January 28, 2026, 22:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US Senator Elizabeth Warren and other Democratic lawmakers wrote to the Federal Trade Commission questioning its decision to dismiss its price-discrimination case against PepsiCo. “We are seeking answers regarding whether the FTC’s decision to dismiss the lawsuit was politically motivated, and we urge the FTC to reconsider its decision to abandon the lawsuit.
