Ticketcorner, Zurich arena get Swiss fine for illegal cooperation agreement

( January 22, 2026, 08:53 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Ticketcorner and Aktiengesellschaft Hallenstadion Zürich, or AGH, have been fined a total of 115,000 Swiss Francs (around $145,000) for a 2008 deal under which the indoor stadium would only be rented to event organizers if at least 50 percent of tickets would be sold via Ticketcorner. Both companies were found to have acted abusively, as they both had a dominant position in the market for big rock and pop concerts in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, while AGH was dominant in the rental of premises and Ticketcorner in terms of ticketing. AGH struck a settlement with the authority, the watchdog said Thursday.Statement follows. ...
