Apple avoids temporary French suspension of App Tracking Transparency system

( January 20, 2026, 16:50 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Apple has won a court victory in France in a battle over its online advertising ecosystem, which has been challenged by associations Alliance Digitale, Geste, Syndicat des Régies Internet and Union des Entreprises de Conseil et d'Achat Media. The Paris Judicial Court has refused to temporarily suspend Apple's advertising tracking system, known as App Tracking Transparency, or ATT. The associations said Apple hasn't changed the ATT despite a French competition authority finding last year that it is anticompetitive.Press release attached (in French)....
