Finnish watchdog had right to request information from Posti Group, court says

( December 16, 2025, 13:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Finland’s antitrust authority had the right to order Posti Group to provide information on corporate acquisitions, as part of a dominance abuse probe into the company, the Supreme Administrative Court said. As part of the investigation, which is still ongoing, the watchdog requested information in 2023 on the acquisitions Posti made. Posti challenged the move, saying the watchdog exceeded its investigative powers. The ruling upholds an earlier verdict by the Market Court, which said that the authority had been granted broad powers to request information to investigate possible competition restrictions.Statement follows (in Finnish). ...
