Duck Duck Go backs US DOJ's remedy in monopoly case against Google

( October 10, 2025, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Duck Duck Go filed a brief in support of the US Department of Justice’s proposed final judgment in its internet search monopolization lawsuit against Google. The company said that unlike Google’s proposed remedy, the DOJ’s includes broad language granting the technical committee the authority to monitor Google’s implementation of and compliance with the judgment, makes clear that any requirement that competitors share end-user data with Google be on terms at least as favorable as those available to “any other user of Google’s search syndication products,” and requires Google to make a syndication license available to competitors for a five-year term, even if that term extends beyond the period of the judgment.See attached file. ...
