Eurofield, Unanime get EU fines for incomplete response to antitrust request

( September 8, 2025, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Artificial turf companies Eurofield and its then parent company Unanime Sport have received fines of around 172,000 euros for providing an “incomplete reply” to a 2023 information request from the EU’s antitrust regulator during an ongoing investigation into the sector. The European Commission's competition chief Teresa Ribera said the sanction marked the first time it had fined a company for a breach of this kind. The regulator said it granted the companies a 30 percent fine reduction for proactively cooperating with the inquiry. Statement follows....
