( September 5, 2025, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: SPINS LLC and DAAP LLC moved for summary judgment against Crownalytics’ US antitrust claims over the sale of data to manufacturers of natural and organic consumer packaged goods, arguing that discovery confirmed key facts that disprove the allegations. “There was no group boycott because SPINS and Circana never agreed to cut off Crownalytics and indeed never even discussed the provision of SPINS’ data to Crownalytics. There was no negative tying because SPINS customers continued both to use a Crownalytics product to analyze SPINS data for SPINS customers and because Crownalytics continued to analyze non-SPINS data sources for SPINS customers.
