Pension funds file amended US antitrust complaint against Treasury securities dealers

( August 26, 2025, 23:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System, the Ohio Carpenters Pension Fund, and Hehmeyer filed their first amended US antitrust complaint accusing Treasury securities dealers, including Deutsche Back, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley & Co., and HSBC Bank of conspiring to fix the price of British pound sterling-denominated UK government bonds sold throughout the US from 2009 to 2013. The defendants agreed to fix the prices of Gilt bonds in the secondary market, profiting by widening the bid-ask spread, also affecting the pricing of Gilt bond futures and options on futures, the complaint filed to the Southern District of New York said.See attached file....
