New York consultant sentenced for rigging bids to schools, US DOJ says

Garrido was previously employed by the NYC DOE as a business manager "where he provided budget and procurement guidance and training to various schools," and shortly after formed TranscendBS, which went on to impact 28 public schools through over $140,000 in losses extracted from big-rigging, the statement said.Statement follows below:...
