Enel to appeal EUR2.3 million antitrust fine in EV charging market

The case, brought amid the rollout of electric mobility, reflects complaints from smaller rival Route220 that Enel’s practices stifle competition and innovation in the nascent market.Italy’s energy group Enel has said it plans to appeal the fine of 2.3 million euros, which the Italian antitrust authority imposed yesterday on its electric-mobility subsidiaries for harming competition on the market for e-vehicle charging, over a one-year period (see here)....
