Harley-Davidson consumers denied appeals court revival of US antitrust case

( August 15, 2025, 22:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Harley-Davidson motorcycle buyers failed to state a claim that would allow their allegations of antitrust allegations against the company to move forward, the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit said in an opinion. Because the plaintiffs failed to plausibly allege Harley-Davidson wields sufficient market power in the markets for motorcycles and aftermarket motorcycle parts, their claims of illegal tying, attempted monopolization and "a Kodak-style lock-in" fail, the Seventh Circuit said.See attached file....
