US Chamber of Commerce opposes unsealing of US FTC complaint against Pepsi

( August 15, 2025, 22:18 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: PepsiCo's request to keep sealed an antitrust complaint filed in the Southern District of New York by the Federal Trade Commission in now-withdrawn litigation should be granted, the US Chamber of Commerce said in a proposed amicus brief. The weight of the presumption of public access to a voluntarily dismissed complaint is weak and insufficient to overcome the interests in protecting businesses that participate in FTC investigations and facilitating the efficient operation of agency investigations through cooperation, the Chamber said.See attached document....
