Under the Tunney Act, the companies are obligated to report contacts by representatives of the companies with any officer or US employee concerning the settlement that permitted the deal to close, "except those communications 'made by counsel of record alone with the Attorney General or the employees of the Department of Justice alone.' ” See file attachment. ...
