Apple faces broader Spanish antitrust probe over app store pricing terms

The investigation, started by the antitrust authority one year ago, is part of a broader series of tech probes coordinated by national antitrust authorities in Europe with the European Commission to avoid overlaps with the EU’s signature gatekeepers law, the Digital Markets Act.Apple has seen Spain's antitrust authority expand its investigation into the tech company, integrating new elements, such as a possible mandatory price schedule for developers distributing apps on the app store (see here). The authority, known by its Spanish initials CNMC, announced the broadened probe today on its website....
