Equifax moves for arbitration in US antitrust case

( July 25, 2025, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Equifax told a US federal judge that First Financial Lending and Greystone Mortgage’s monopolization claims should go to arbitration. Equifax is accused of illegally maintaining a monopoly in the market for electronic verification of income and/or employment. Equifax said the two mortgage companies recently agreed to arbitration provisions requiring them to arbitrate in Missouri all claims “arising out of or relating to” arrangements governing past and future purchases of such verification services from Equifax.See attached file. ...
